Yeonjae Cho is a Korean coloratura soprano who has performed in numerous operas, including the roles of Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Norina in Don Pasquale, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Eurydice in Orphée aux Enfers, Setsuko in An American Dream, and Tytania from A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

 

This season, Ms.Cho made her debut with Nashville Opera, performing the roles of Josephine Corcoran in H.M.S. Pinafore and Goldie B. Locks in Goldie B.Locks & the Three Singing Bears

 

In the past year, she performed her solo recital and Mozart’s Great Mass in c minor as the soprano soloist at Jordan Hall. She also performed Gabriela Lena Frank’s Conquest Requiem with NEC Philharmonia and Chorus in the Boston Symphony Hall as the East Coast premiere. 

 

Additionally, she was named a Boston District Winner by the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition and recently completed an Artist Diploma at New England Conservatory under the tutelage of Bradley Williams. She pursued the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Seoul National University with honors and earned a Graduate Diploma at New England Conservatory.
